Documents to use as Workshops 

Books and More - this is a shorter document that is good for formatting practice

Large Table - this is a two page, landscape table with header and footer and footnotes.

Table of Authorities- good for teaching how to create a native TOA or how to use Full Authority.

"I hate Show/Hide".  This document stresses the benefits of Show/Hide.  5 different types of horizontal centering - spaces, tabs, paragraph alignment with normal, a text box, and a style.  There are also 4 different types of vertical centering.  Hard returns, space before, text box, and page layout with a different section.

An agreement, done without numbering, in a normal style.  Needs a listnum too!

KKL's ezNumbering samples.  Although they no longer market this (what a shame!), the numbering schemes work with native Word as well as Payne numbering and Softwise numbering.  A Common Outline, a Corporate Outline, and a Legal Outline.

The Agency Agreement, the Stylized Agency Agreement, and the Instructor's instructions to accompany both. 

Font formatting exercise- random text, different font formats  - for the students to do on their own.

Paragraph exercise- random text, different paragraph formats - for the students to do on their own. 

Paragraph formatting is an agreement that reviews both paragraph and character and style formatting

Air drying unformatted and final is for character and paragraph formatting practice.  Also reviews the use of borders/shading and insert symbol.

World Software (the file for students to open and use) and the Workshop Instructions for World Software is another good style review.

Working with Sections

Here is a good one to practice tables.  Table Workshop Instructions  

This is the Final Instant Music document.  A multi-page, multi-section document with tables, numbering, styles, shading, different page numbering.  Print out the final, hand it out, and then have the students open up Instant Music Unformatted and make it look like the Final.
